So how to start writing?
Read this short blog to know some of the simple rules on how to start journaling and earning from your entries.
We’re thrilled to have you join our community, where you can freely express yourself through writing. Whether you’re an aspiring writer, a seasoned poet, or someone who simply wants to share their thoughts and experiences, you’ve come to the right place.
Here are some simple rules to follow on our platform:
- Registration: To get started, all you need to do is register an account. Once registered, you’ll be directed to your personal dashboard where you can begin journaling your heart out.
- Title and Category: When posting your entries, remember to give them a title and choose the category they belong to. If you’re unsure about the category, don’t worry, you can leave it blank.
- Posting Frequency: You’re free to publish your entries at any time and on any day. However, we do have a monthly limit of 5,000 words per user. There’s no specific word count for each entry, so feel free to write as much or as little as you’d like.
- Language and Style: Write in any language and style that speaks to you. Whether it’s prose, poetry, essays, or letters, the choice is yours. But if you prefer to write in article in form, kindly send us a letter using the form below, so we can give you access to the main platform (Quattro Club Journals).
- Emoticons: You can use emoticons to express yourself, but please don’t overuse them. Limit yourself to one emoticon per place and a maximum of 5 emoticons per post.
- Content Guidelines: While we encourage creative expression, we ask that you refrain from posting inappropriate content such as graphic violence or explicit sexual stories. Additionally, please avoid stories that malign others or disclose personal information about individuals without their consent. Lines or quoted statements from other personalities, or lyrics of songs, are not counted for salary computation. In order to view a more accurate royalty computation, we suggest you to highlight those lines or lyrics from your post editor, right click and select Pullquote to automatically remove them from computation.
- Royalties: Journaling on Quattro Dear Diary can also earn you royalties! After posting, you’ll be able to track your earnings at the bottom part of your dashboard under “Post Pay Counter.” Entries are paid at a rate of 0.05 per word and 0.05 per post view. For example, if you post an entry with 500 words and it generates 500 views, you’ll earn P25 for the word count and P25 for the views, totaling P50 for that particular entry. The minimum amount to withdraw is P200.
- Rating and Role: Your entries will be rated according to content, construction, and views. When your entries meet our standards, your role will be upgraded from Contributor to Author, and your rate will double to 10 cents per word and 10 cents per view. You will receive an email from the admin when you reach this stage.
